Back by popular demand. Last year’s concert by Dutch Bossa Nova queen Tamara Maria, accompanied by Jean Louis van Dam on keyboards and Eric Timmermans on double bass, was a great success! Reason enough to invite them back. The sultry Bossa Nova comes from Brazil and evokes warm summer evenings. The trio will perform The Girl from Ipanema, Desafinado and One Note Samba among others. Tamara Maria attended the Sweelink Conservatory and then took master classes in Rio de Janeiro with Bossa Nova masters such as Antonio Adolfo and Chris Delanno. She appears on stage all over the country – including at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Van Dam and Timmermans are popular and adaptable musicians.
