Szféra Passion will play a festive potpourri of Argentinian tangos, Brazilian bossa nova and cha cha cha and well-known Dutch tunes. The trio’s members Ernö Olah (violin and musical saw), Gert Wantenaar (accordion) and Danny Malando (double bass) also form part of the 75-year-old Malando Tango orchestra. Olah was Concert Master at the Metropole Orchestra for 33 years and, like Gert Wantenaar, accompanied many famous artists. Danny Malando, member of the musical Malando family, played in the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra for a number of years before he succeeded his father as leader of the Malando Orchestra in 1999.
