BLACK INTENTION plays ‘The Circle of C.P.E. Bach’

Recorder virtuosi Yvonne Rietbergen, Sascha Mommertz and Lydia Nagel will introduce the audience to the works of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, ‘the Bach of Berlin’. C.P.E. Bach, who was employed by Frederick the Great in Berlin, was born exactly 300 years ago and the event is being commemorated all over the world.
The concert combines his sensitive, expressive and unconventional compositions with a number of works of his famous father Johann Sebastian Bach, his brother and other well-known contemporaries, like Telemann and Quantz.
