Featuring the Hortus Ensemble“Hortus Festival Sneak Preview”
The Hortus Ensemble – made up of Maarten van Veen (Erard piano), Eva Stegeman (violin), Örzse Adam (viola) and Job ter Haar (cello) – perform romantic, melodious piano quartets. The composers are Camille Saint-Saëns and Friedrich Kuhlau from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The WTC performance is a sneak preview of the ensemble’s repertoire for the Hortus Festival in August. This involves botanical gardens in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden and Haren in which the gardens form an exotic backdrop for summer music. More info and further concert dates: www.hortusfestival.nl
