Children’s Concerts

What does a house sound like? Or a wheel? What do you hear when you are in love? Or in the seventh heaven? The Concertgebouw’s Children’s Concerts take children aged 4 to 12 on a wonderful journey of discovery into the world of music, instruments and musicians. Breathtaking music and stories that challenge children to listen, to look, to sing and to participate. They learn about the most beautiful sounds and modern and ancient masterworks from near and far in a playful manner. Please note: narration during these concerts will be in Dutch.

In 2021 Musix For You initiates and gives 20 soul soothing miniconcerts as a present to crucial workers of Amsterdam-Zuid, thanking for their work and devotion during the  COVID-19 period. (elderly houses, nursing homes, medical professionals, police, fire brigade, teachers…)
For cheering up, giving inspiration and strength! The project was financed by The City of Amsterdam, Stadsdeel-Zuid.

Due to the success of this project, GGD Amsterdam commisioned Musix For You to perform the mini-concerts in all of the Test-and vaccination centers of Amsterdam and Amstelveen in dec 2021.
