Örzse performs this duo program with Quirine – 2^nd Concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic and primarius of the Daniel Quartet – on authentic bows from three different periods to demonstrate the fascinating evolution from the Baroque till today.

Na het ‘pianokwartet’ in juli en het ‘klarinetkwartet’ in september, speelt in november een derde kwartetvariatie in de Central Hall: de ‘fluitkwartet’. Het fluitkwartet was enorm populair in de 18^e eeuw en dat zie je terug in de kamermuziek die destijds door grote componisten werd geschreven. Het concert wordt geleid door de internationaal befaamde Oostenrijkse fluitist Christian Gurtner. Gurtner trad op als solo-artiest en als eerste fluitist in grote orkesten in onder meer Duitsland, Japan en de Verenigde Staten. Muziek uit Wenen is het thema, met alle aandacht voor drie grand Viennese masters: Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven.
