Hungarian-Dutch violist and concert programmer Örzse Adam is an active performer both on the modern and historical viola, and has toured all over the world with chamber music groups and ensembles such as Dresdner Festspielorchester (D), Anima Eterna (B), LUDWIG, Il Gardellino (B), Rococo Trio, Musica Ad Rhenum, The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Les Musiciens du Louvre (FR), Wiener Akademie (AT), Harmonie Universelle (D), Van Swieten Society, Hortus Ensmeble, The Ives Ensemble, The Holland Harp Trio, The Renoir Ensemble, Holland Symfonia, The Dutch Radio Chamber Orchestra, The Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, The Hungarian Radio Orchestra (HU), The Budapest Festival Orchestra (HU), Le Concert Spirituel (FR), Malando Tango Orchestra and Nynke Laverman.
As a soloist she has been performing with Bonheur Theaterbedrijf in the project Odyssee, and on the viola d’amore with Michael Chance, Greta de Reyghere, Musica ad Rhenum, several Johannes Passions and other projects.
Alongside her career as a performing artist, since 2003, Örzse runs her own company, Musix For You. As concert- and event programmer she always aims to create unique projects, either with unusual repertoire, instrumentation, venue or combining different disciplines.
Through Musix For You, Örzse has created many concert series -among others- the Holland Symfonia Chamber Music Series, the World Trade Center Amsterdam Lunch Concerts, Musix Salon Sandenburg, the pop-up camping concert for ElkePlek and the Dutch-Hungarian ZeNe Festival 2016 in Utrecht.
She initiated the Salon Classique passépartout at The Royal Concertgebouw, performed by her chamber music society, A’dam Diviso in collaboration with radio presenters Lex Bohlmeijer and Ab Nieuwdorp.
During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, Örzse has created several social-cultural projects subsidized by the Dutch government: Corona-proof Garden Concerts, Corona-proof mini-concert gifts for the COVID-19 crucial institutions (hospitals, vaccination and test centers, police, nursing homes…).
In 2023 Musix For You organized a few local/neighbourhood events in De Pijp, Amsterdam. Financially supported by Fonds voor Zuid and started some new projects in Hungary.
A few years ago Örzse started researching Paganini and his contemporaries and recorded six unique chamber music pieces featuring the viola as the central, solo instrument. The recordings were made with three internationally acclaimed fellow musicians and will be released in 2027 through the Dutch/Belgian label EtCetera Records. There are also plans to create an art film based on the CD repertoire.
Örzse Ádám was graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music-Budapest, the Jacobs Scool of Music at Indiana University-Bloomington, USA, and the Sweelinck Conservatorium-Amsterdam.
In 2006, she obtained a Certificate for Concert Programming at the ArtEZ Conservatorium.
Next to performing and concert organizing, after various international trainings and certifications (UNLP, IG-Barcelona, Stephan Hausner-Germany, Daan van Kampenhout-Systemic Rituals®-Berlin and London) Örzse recently started working as well as Systemic Facilitator under her new business name: Adam Systemic Work . She uses live music during her constellation sessions.
Her aim is to create a new bridge between music, feelings, universal energy, nature, people and personal development.
In 2026 she initiated a new artistic concept & concert series: Greet The Seasons. A decorated multi-sensorial concert experience: a journey to connect nature and audience through music, stories, mini-rituals, imagination, seasonal bites. Greet The Seasons is in collaboration with the beautifully situated Anna Haen organic farm café.
